Sale of ReHa business unit of Health Care Group to Newport & Co.

Cadenive acted as financial advisor to Health Care Group in the sale of ReHa, its Home Care Solutions business unit specialising in the end-to-end management of medical and orthopaedic aids, to Newport & Co S.p.A. – Società Benefit.

The transaction was structured as a corporate carve-out.

Home Care Solutions was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Pontedera (Pisa). It provides end-to-end management of medical and orthopaedic aids (sanitisation, maintenance, refurbishment and home delivery) on behalf of Italian Local Health Authorities. With 11 local units across Italy and approximately 115 employees, the company expects revenues of around €11 million in 2026.

Newport & Co S.p.A. – Società Benefit is a perpetual compounder headquartered in Verona, focused exclusively on corporate carve-outs and divestments of non-core businesses from mid- and large-sized industrial groups. Unlike a private equity fund, it holds its companies indefinitely, reinvesting cash flows into organic growth and new acquisitions.
