Sale of OIKOS to ViridiusLAB AG

Cadenive acted as exclusive M&A advisor to the owners of OIKOS Sp. z o.o. in the sale of 100% of the shares to ViridiusLAB AG. The transaction closed on 5 February 2025. The deal adds OIKOS' accredited environmental and biotechnology laboratory capabilities to viridiusLAB's pan-European platform, expanding the Group's Polish footprint and reinforcing its positioning as a leading quality laboratory network in Central Europe. Post-closing, OIKOS continues to operate its accredited laboratory facilities and applied research activities, with planned investment in infrastructure, personnel and service expansion under viridiusLAB's ownership.

OIKOS Sp. z o.o. is a Polish R&D and laboratory services provider headquartered in Łódź, specialising in environmental protection, occupational safety and biotechnology. The Company combines accredited laboratory analytics with applied environmental research, consulting and technology implementation projects, holding accreditation from the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA).

ViridiusLAB AG is an Austrian owner-managed international laboratory group headquartered in Vienna, operating more than 65 accredited laboratory locations across six EU countries - Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic - with over 950 employees. The Group offers environmental analysis, food and material testing, non-destructive testing and pharmaceutical services, and pursues a buy-and-build strategy focused on establishing a leading quality laboratory platform in Central Europe.
